Vegpro International Inc. is the largest grower-packer of baby lettuces and vegetables in Canada. Known under the "Attitude Fraîche" brand, the company has revolutionized its field of activity since its founding in 1998. A Quebec company with its head office in Montérégie, it employs nearly 1,000 passionate collaborators and offers them a dynamic and ambitious challenges.

Vegpro proudly cultivates its own land, thus controlling the quality of its products from seed to plate. It also has four packing centers located in the heart of its fields: two in Sherrington, QC; one in Coldstream, British Columbia; and one in Belle-Glade, Florida.

The main workplace of the position to be filled is on the South Shore of Montreal, in Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington. Advantageously located about 30 minutes from the Champlain Bridge, near the crossroads of highways 15 south, 10 and 30.

Under the responsibility of the Production Supervisor, the Labourer is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to packaging lettuce, spinach, and vegetables for the preparation of salads.

• Open plastic containers and place them on the production line
• Inspect product labels, product quality, and plastic wrap
• Distribute bowls, lids, and packaging boxes on the various production lines
• Prepare and identify pallets at the designated shipping locations
• Secure the workstation and perform visual inspection of the machines
• Adjust the parameters of the packaging equipment as needed
• Carry out minimal maintenance at set intervals
• Perform tasks related to product changes
• Follow the production schedule
• Perform quality tests when required
