Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Inspect equipment and inform the supply attendant of the type of onions to be processed according to the daily production plan
- Set equipment parameters before the start of the shift
- Monitor operations and report any irregularities to the immediate supervisor and/or maintenance (unusual noises, breakdowns, product quality issues)
- Feed the machine with the appropriate bag size
- Ensure packaging standards and specifications are met
- Perform product quality control and complete quality reports
- Perform all other related duties

Knowledge and skills sought
- DEP in production equipment operation (food processing) or high school diploma with relevant experience in a similar role
- Ability to work standing and lift required materials
- Comfortable using computer systems
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (4°C)
- Knowledge of HACCP standards is an asset
- Strong observational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Thorough and attentive in task execution
- Resourceful, versatile, and able to work with a sense of urgency
