We are looking for a Maintenance Director to optimize the maintenance activities of our agricultural machinery fleet across our various sites in Quebec, Florida, and British Columbia. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for supervising and ensuring adherence to best work practices, equipment prevention and reliability, while guaranteeing the efficiency and integrity of the maintenance system processes. He will also be responsible for maintaining and developing our partnerships with suppliers.
Main Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain an up-to-date global preventive maintenance program for all farm equipment and deploy it across all sites
- Maintain partnerships with our key suppliers by managing specific cases
- Manage supplier programs to ensure the profitability of service and maintenance contracts
- Facilitate the extraction of necessary data to guide the selection of future equipment, based on their reliability and maintenance costs
- Be responsible for the equipment prevention and reliability program, ensuring the effectiveness of corrective and preventive interventions within a continuous improvement program
- Identify training needs, developing and presenting appropriate recommendations
- Audit the quality of completed work as well as the management process of work orders within the system
- Assist mechanics and supervisors in performing complex tasks

Knowledge and skills sought
- Degree in engineering, management, or continuous improvement, providing a solid foundation for managing maintenance and optimizing processes
- Interest in agriculture and agricultural machinery technologies
- Proficiency in both French and English, spoken and written, to easily communicate with our other two sites in Florida and British Columbia. Spanish is an asset
